Since the age of 11, V.P. Walling has acted in scores of plays, musicals, films, television episodes, and commercials.
He has trained in New York and Los Angeles, primarily at the Atlantic, Groundlings, and Upright Citizens Brigade theaters.
V.P. received critical acclaim in John Patrick Shanley's The Big Funk as "a bit off-kilter...he compellingly plays the loner and the empath with strength, expertly straddling the line between comedy and drama, an alluringly confident leading man who acutely feels your pain, and the oddly tender man-child next door who will come over and eat all of your cereal." (NYC Theater Review)
He has collaborated with such artists as: the Coen Brothers, Janusz Kaminski, Denzel Washington, Jaimie Alexander, Frances McDormand, George Clooney, Brendan Gleeson, Robin Weigert, Seth Rogen, and Erik Estrada, to name a few.
V.P. has a love of dogs and cats, and a healthy obsession with Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Pee-wee's Big Adventure.
His career goal is to work consistently, up until he takes his last breath on a Broadway stage -- but he isn't in any hurry to make that last part happen.
V.P. is also a professional writer. His feature film Pick Me Up, co-written with Mark Skeele Wilson, was recognized by The Black List and is currently in development with TUBI.
